Up to now, the station has already implemented 14 scientific projects, including 5 at state level, 3 under CAS, 3 funded by Sichuan government and 4 by international cooperation fund. Over the past 10 years, the station has produced more than 150 scientific papers and 50 research reports, while at the same time proposing a new thinking and approach on ecology restoration and rehabilitation and thus enriching the basic theories and methods in the field. So far, more than 20,000 mu of experimental demonstration area has been set up in the station. In 2001, it won the Second Prize of Sichuan Scientific Advancement Award, for its outstanding results achieved on ecological restoration and rehabilitation of Dagou Valley in the upper reaches of Minjiang River.
